An Experienced Team
Here are some of our associates that we work
with on projects.
• Lou Hernandez – Founder & President
Lou
Hernandez founded Fiddler Films 12 years ago. Lou takes
the primary leadership role in each production, bringing to bear
over 20 years of domestic and international experience. An honors
graduate of Yale University, Lou’s marketing experience is rooted
in New York City’s top advertising agencies and boutiques where he
served in executive management positions and was always a top creative
leader. Lou has produced 2 award winning independent films. In addition
he is also an accomplished painter with his works in many private
collections as well as included in published books. Lou has
won many film and marketing awards, both in the domestic and international
arenas, including the CLIO Awards, the American Advertising Awards,
the Art Directors Club Awards, and the NY International Film Festival
Awards to name a few. In the end, what really sets Lou apart is the
passion and enthusiasm he brings to all his projects. His boundless
energy and creativity adds a tangible value that can’t be found
elsewhere.
• Jason W. Tower – Editor & Cameraman
A graduate of Full Sail Center For the Recording
Arts in Orlando, Jason Tower has been working with Lou for over 10
years. Jason
began his career at Visitors Television in Naples, Florida, where
he worked as a non-linear editor and cameraman. It was there
where he first met Lou and began to work on a multitude of projects
with him. They formed a unique creative bond and method of
working that still stands to this day. In 2001, Jason went
to work with Lou full time on projects and to manage Fiddler Post,
Fiddler Films’ post production division. Jason has shot and
edited hundreds of commercials during his career and credits his
knowledge of, and experience in the creative process to Lou Hernandez. As
the self-proclaimed tech-geek of Fiddler, Jason is also a trained
Steadicam operator and occasionally dangles his feet out the side
of a helicopter for aerial shots.
• Louis G. Hernandez – Photographer & Cameraman
As the oldest of Lou’s three children, it’s no surprise that Louis
Hernandez has inherited his father’s amazing sense of composition
in creating an image, whether it be still or moving. A graduate
of Full Sail Center For the Recording Arts, Louis began his career
as a camera assistant and operator on his father’s shoots. He
learned the fine art of lighting a scene and setting up the perfect
shot, while at the same time taking hundreds of production stills. Louis
soon began assisting for top photographers and eventually taking
on photography jobs himself as the photographer. His shoots
encompass a wide range of subjects including fashion, art, cuisine,
real estate and landscape. When he’s not out on photography
jobs, Louis still works on his father’s shoots as a camera assistant
and cameraman. To see a sample of some of Louis’ photography,
